BioBorn out of the darkness of 100 "Control Spires", many expected BlackWarGreymon to be one of the darkest digimon yet. True, he was, but only in colour. In his first life, he went on a quest to find his purpose, to add meaning to his life. He found it in his attempt to bring justice to Owikawa for disturbing the balance between the human and digital worlds. However, before he could kill the creepy old man, WarGreymon intervened and engaged him in battle. Agumon, Veemon, and Wormmmon ended up talking the fully evolved digimon out of his quest for vengance on Owikawa, but he left feeling still unfulfilled. When Owikawa was posessed, BlackWarGreymon too the blast of dark energy meant for Iori's Grandfather, surprising many more people with that and the selfless act of sacrificing himself to seal the gate at Highton View Terrace.
Since then, BlackWarGreymon has been granted the opportunity of a new life in the digital world. He is a strong and just Digimon who works closely with Gennai (in various forms) to help keep even the smallest flower in the digital world safe. He is a noble creature, respected by many and feared by others, but BlackWarGreymon wouldn't hurt a Flymon. Well, not unless that particular Flymon was starting a rebellion somewhere. He's always wanted to thank Veemon, Agumon, and Wormmon for the help they gave him in finding his true path as a defender of the digital world.
